Black Diamond Ion Headlamp 
I use my Ion for night running, and it works just fine. No bells and whistles here, but it lights up the path without being too obtrusive.
Pros:
1) Lightweight
2) Inexpensive — can’t complain at this price point
3) Thin elastic band
Cons:
1) Could have a lower profile
2) Not much viewing distance
3) Not good in fog
